I tried donating via text message from Toronto Canada, but got a return message stating that the service is not available in Canada.

Part of my organization I work for has set up a similar donation drive through http://www.mobilegiving.ca . Can someone from the admin portion of this drive please contact them, so that we Canadians can donate? I'll be more than happy to assist in any way I can.

Unfortunately, only US Based carriers are supported in the current text to give efforts. We hope to have the Canadian carriers on board very soon.

So the number could be text from Canada, but it would have to be from a US based cell phone.

I'll look into setting something up for Canada.

You're right, I found out yesterday that you can not text in donations from Canada. Here's what I heard from mobileGiving. I'll look into setting something up for Canada.

Anything I can do to help, please let me know. The lady responsible for the donations here stated that Canadian phones can be used through http://www.mobilegiving.ca, so I'm a bit confused as per their response. If you want me to copntact them on your behalf, please let me know.

If you want me to copntact them on your behalf, please let me know.I think mobilegiving.ca may be a different company. GKTW set up the number for us for the mobileGiving US company. If you'd want to look into it Paul, I'd be curious what you find out.
